King Solomon's Weddings and Leadership, Part 2 (Replay)

Posted on January 29, 2016 at 10:00 PM Comments comments (0)

In this video, we will show you that
  • King Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines, but Scripture only had details on two of his wives.
  • The marriage between Pharaoh's daughter and King Solomon was a political alliance, which is proven by Pharaoh’s troops marching on Gezer, destroyed it, and gave the captured Gezer to his daughter, Solomon’s wife, as her wedding gift.
  • The only wife of Solomon mentioned in the Bible is Naamah, an Ammonite woman, a descendant of Lot Abraham’s nephew. The Ammonites were long-time enemies of Israel.
  • King Solomon had only three children– two daughters and one son.
